THE FESTIVAL PROGRAM
GENERAL PROVISION
Article 1
To promote cultural exchanges and mutual understanding among nations and to develop further cooperation among filmmakers of the world in the Ivanovo region, the XI Andrey Tarkovsky International Film Festival “Zerkalo” will be held in Moscow in June 13-18, 2017.
ORGANIZATION OF THE FESTIVAL
Article 2
The International Film Festival “Zerkalo” (hereafter “Zerkalo” IFF) was established by the Government of the Ivanovo Region of the Russian Federation.
“Zerkalo” IFF is held under support of the Administration of the President of the Russian Federation, the Government of the Russian Federation, the Ministry of Culture of the Russian Federation.
The general management of the preparation and holding of the festival is carried out by the Organizing Committee.
The Chairman of the Organizational Committee is P. A. Konkov, Governor of the Ivanovo region.
The President of "Zerkalo” IFF is P. S. Lungin, film director, People's Artist of the Russian Federation.
The Program Director of the festival is A. S. Plakhov.
Article 3
The program of the Festival includes:
· Feature film competition;
· Documentary film competition The Mirror of “Artfocfest”;
· Program of animated films;
· Program of Russian films “We”;
· Program of short films;
· “Euphoria” Program;
· “Tarkovsky. Context” Program;
· Program of video art;
· Poetic Program.
Article 4
The deadline for entries to participate in “Zerkalo” IFF is May 6, 2017.
Selection Committee of the Festival selects the films for participation in “Zerkalo” IFF until May 12, 2017. The program of screenings of films at the festival is determined by the Management of "Zerkalo" IFF.
Each film can be shown during the festival no more than five times, including screenings for the press.

Article 5
Only full-length feature films produced after January 1, 2016 are accepted for the Feature films competition.
World and International premieres are the preference for the Competition programs.
Not less than 10 films will participate in the Main Competition.
Preferable format for the films participating in Feature films competition is 35 mm film with optical sound, but screening via digital media is accepted as well.
Prints of the films selected for Competition programs should be delivered to the Management of the Festival not later than May 19, 2017.
Article 6
Acceptable format for films selected for other Festival programs is 35 mm film with optical sound as well as other media.
Copies of the films selected for other Festival programs should be delivered to the Management of the Festival not later than May 19, 2017.
Article 7
All conditions and suggested dates are obligatory; otherwise, the Management of the Festival has the right to exclude the film from the Festival program.
DOCUMENTATION
Article 8
Duly filled in and signed entry-form for each selected film, confirming the participation in “Zerkalo” IFF should be delivered to the Management of the Festival before May 19, 2017.
Entry-form must be accompanied by the following documentation:
· The dialogue list in the original language and in one of the following languages: Russian, English, French, Spanish;
· The list of subtitles in English or French;
· Synopsis, press and promotion materials;
· Excerpts from the film and trailers;
· Materials for the festival catalogue, including a detailed biography and filmography of the director, a director's photo as well as slides from the film.
· DVD of the film for subtitling.
TRANSPORTATION AND INSURANCE OF PRINTS
Article 9
The Management of the Festival covers all transportation costs to Ivanovo for the screening copies of films selected for the Festival programs (AIRPORT of sender-Moscow/Ivanovo-AIRPORT of recipient). The Management of the Festival covers all film storage and insurance expenses during the Festival.
GUESTS
Article 10
The Management of the Festival determines all the terms of guests invitation and accreditation.
Each film participating in the Competition programs of the Festival should be personally presented by 1 representative (director or actor/actress).
The Management of the Festival covers round-trip tickets and hotel accommodation for the duration of the Festival for representative of the Competition films (director or actor/actress).
Hospitality terms for other official guests of the Festival will be indicated in their personal invitations.
Applications for accreditation should be sent to the Management of the Festival before (?) 2017.
JURY
Article 11
The International Jury of the Feature films Competition will be set up to judge the films in the Feature films Competition programs. The Management of the Festival will cover round-trip tickets and hotel accommodation in Ivanovo for each Jury of the Feature films Competition member and an accompanying person.
Persons connected with the production or commercial distribution of a film in competition are not allowed to serve for the corresponding Jury.
PRIZES
Article 12
The Jury of the Feature films Competition will award the following prizes:
GRAND PRIX
AWARD FOR BEST DIRECTOR
PROFESSIONAL ACHIEVEMENT AWARD
SPECIAL AWARD OF THE ORGANIZING COMMITTEE FOR THE OUTSTANDING CONTRIBUTION TO THE WORLD FILM ART
SPECIAL AWARDS
The right to award ex-aequo prizes is excluded. It is expected that the winners will personally attend the Award Ceremonies.
FINAL PROVISIONS
Article 13
Participation in the Festival presumes observation of all articles of the present Regulations.
In case of any disputes which may arise out of the present Regulations, only the Russian-language variant of the present Regulations is considered authentic.
The Management of “Zerkalo” IFF has the power to settle all cases and issues not covered by these Regulations in accordance with the generally accepted practice of international film festivals.
