The film “Pipeline” is about modern Europe – about its two ends, or rather extremities; about a Europe that starts in the deserted space of permafrost in Russia’s Siberia and ends on the cosy beaches of the Bay of Biscay where the laws of nature alone determine an essentially different lifestyle. What could such different lives have in common? Physically they are united by the gas pipeline “Western Siberia–Western Europe”...
