A promising young scientist Anton is invited to work at a prominent Western research institute. The flight is scheduled for tomorrow, Anton completes whatever business he has, the friends and colleagues come to a farewell party. They can hardly conceal their jealousy, most of them dream to be in Anton’s position. But he himself is tortured by an insoluble problem: shall he get out of the country or stay on?

Born in 1981 in Sverdlovsk (now Yekaterinburg). Graduated from the department of directing at VGIK. One of the authors of the documentary project Cinematrain. Directed a number of shorts. In 2011–2013 was curator of and professor at the international educational program Generation Campus. Vice-President of the Guild of non-live-action cinema.
