The 17-year-old Adele dreams of eternal love. She meets a charming boy who immediately falls for her. But quite unexpectedly Adele starts having strange dreams about a mysterious blue-haired girl, whom she accidentally met in the street. Young Adele realizes that what attracts her is not merely the blue hair but the stranger herself.
ABDELLATIF KECHICHE
Film and theatre director, actor. Born in 1960 in Tunisia, at the age of 6 together with his parents he emigrated to France. Grew up in Nice. In 1978 staged his first production at Arenes de Cimiez. In 2000 debuted as a film director with the movie “It's Voltaire's Fault” which won two prizes at the Venice IFF and many other awards. His second feature “Games of Love and Chance” (2003) won 4 Cesar Awards and prizes at international film festivals. In 2007 “Couscous” won 5 prizes of the Venice IFF, 4 Cesars and 10 other awards, while his next feature “Black Venus” was also lauded in Venice in 2010. The movie “Blue is the Warmest Color” won 45 prizes all in all.
