  Bahadir, an aspiring 35-year-old director, spends his life making cheap television films inspired by the stories of folk songs. On the other hand, he has a great ambition to make films like his idol, Tarkovsky. He stands between his dreams and the real, tragicomic conditions. 

 

MURAT DÜZGÜNOĞLU

Born in Istanbul in 1969. He studied at the Cinema and TV departments of the Mimar Sinan University and the Marmara University. Between 2003 and 2006, he directed 10 TV films. In 2008, he directed his debut feature “The Salt of Life”, was screened at the Bursa International
