Born in 1985. Graduated from cinema school in 2010 with his debute film "Little Baby Jesus of Flandr". Year later he filmed "Blue Bird". Both of films have been demonstrated in Cannes. In 2012 Van den Berghe composed and staged an opera for young spectators "Queen Of The Night" based on "The Magic Flute" by Mozart. In 2014 Van den Berghe directed film "Lucifer".

In 2016 Van den Berghe is a chair of jury of documental contest.
