This chilling fable about the rise of authoritarianism in the 20th Century tells the story of a young boy living in France in 1918 whose father is working for Woodrow Wilson's US government on the creation of the Treaty of Versailles. What he witnesses helps to mold his beliefs – and we witness the birth of a terrifying ego.

 

BRADY CORBET

27 year-old actor and filmmaker currently living and working in New York City and Paris. In 2009, he presented his writing and directorial debut, a short “Protect You + Me” at the Sundance Film Festival, which was awarded a Special Jury Prize for Short Filmmaking. Brady was co-editor and starred in “Two Gates of Sleep” (2010), which premiered in Director’s Fortnight in Cannes then premiered Antonio Campos’ “Simon Killer”, which he co-wrote and starred in at the 2012 Sundance Film Festival. He co-wrote and stars in “The Sleepwalker” (2014), and has now completed his directorial debut “The Childhood of a Leader”.
