Producer

French producer of Danish origin. She founded the independent production company Slot Machine in 1993. She has worked with Lars von Trier since 1995 from “Breaking the Waves” to “Melancholia”. She has produced extensively in Latin America, including films by Lucrecia Martel, Lisandro Alonso, Albertina Carri and Paz Encina. She produced Juliette Garcia's “Be Good”, Marian Crisan’s “Morgen”, Hélène de Crécy's “Escort”, and Malgoska Szumowska's “Elles”. She is currently in production with among others, Bent Hamer’s “1001 Grams” and Lars von Trier’s “Nymphomaniac“. She is the Scandinavian Delegate of the San Sebastian Film Festival since 1998 and sits on the board of directors of the Danish House in Paris since 1999. In may 2013 she became President of the Commission for the Assistance to World Cinema with Centre National du Cinema (CNC).
