A one day drama of eighteen year old Marek living near Slovak-Moravian border with his dad and with his racist friends – hooligans, however Marek’s best friend is only his dog. Marek’s life is shaken up when he discovers the secret of his lost mother Marika.

MIRA FORNAY

Born in Bratislava, Czechoslovakia (now Slovakia). Her first feature “Foxes” premiered in the 2009 Venice IFF and she traveled for it during top world festivals. Mira received several awards for this film in Slovakia. With “My Dog Killer” she won the best script in Slovakia Awards of Tibor Vichta 2009 and the project was selected at Berlinale co-production market 2010 and as well won the honorable mentioning at Agora work in Progress meetings of the 53rd Thessaloniki International Film Festival 2012.
