A man can feel and suffer, he loves and lives out his destiny, even if that destiny takes away the dearest things in his life: the people closest to him. It can take them away cruelly and suddenly, as happens to the heroes of this film. It can take them away along with all meaning of life and any desire to live. It takes them away together with the rest of the world. But they are not ready to accept the losses: they challenge their destiny, declare war and even overcome human limit in that fight... But in their own way, they win!

VASILY SIGAREV
Famous Russian playwright and director. Born in 1977 in Sverdlovsk Region. Graduated from the Yekaterinburg Theater Institute. Author of 18 plays, winner of international literary and theatrical awards including the Evening Standard Theatre Award. His full-length debut film “Wolfy” won the main prize at the “Kinotavr 2009” Open Russian Film Festival, as well as the Grigory Gorin Prize for Best Script and the award for the Best Actress (Yana Troyanova), a Nika Award and many other national awards. The film participated successfully in many international film festivals, winning awards in Kiev, Karlovy Vary, Zurich and Cologne. His second feature, “Living”, premiered in competition at the Rotterdam IFF.
