A novel in the movie almanac “The Fourth Dimension”. This is a story about a Russian scientist, a modern genius, developing a time machine, the so called Chronoeye. Thanks to the new device the scientist witnesses various historical events of universal importance.

 

ALEXEY FEDORCHENKO
Born in 1966 in Sol-Ileck, Orenburg region, USSR. Since 1967 he has been living in Sverdlovsk (now Yekaterinburg). In 1988 he graduated from the Ural Polytechnic Institute, in 2000 – from VGIK as a scriptwriter. In 1990-2005 – economist, film director, scriptwriter and producer at the Sverdlovsk Film Studios. From 2005 – director and producer of the 29th February Film Company. Member of the European Film Academy. Prizewinner of national and international film festivals. His filmography includes “David” (2002, doc.), “Children of the White Grave” (2003, doc.), “The First on the Moon” (2005), “Shosho” (2006, short), “The Kidnapping of a Sparrow” (2006, TV series), “Railway” (2008), “Bath Day” (2008, doc.), “Wind Shuvgey” (2009, doc.), “Silent Souls” (2010), “Chronoeye” (2011, segment from omnibus “The 4th Dimension”), “Australia” (2012, doc.).
