On a usual winter day a taxi left the Yakut village, but a fatal accident halted them en route. At first things did not look so very bad: young people are listening to music, the father is calmly drowsing, the mother is lulling the baby to sleep and the experienced driver is sure to start the car again. Or is he? The car is hopelessly out of order, the phones are useless, people are left to face the elements. No one is prepared to experience fear and despair or to learn the real value of their companions. The characters hopefully peer into the distance unaware of the fact that Destiny has already decided everything for them. And at home their nearest and dearest are waiting for them.
