Nijat visits his childhood town of Goychay after years of living abroad. Obscure about his occupation, but clear about his financial distress he seeks an old family friend’s help to sell his deceased father’s house. Ali, a construction foreman from Baku, anticipates a significant career boost. Already appointed assistant to the regional manager of a major road construction unit, he feels there is more to come and intends to relocate to Goychay, along with his wife and baby son. In the meantime, he lives at his boss’s house and develops a close friendship with him. It takes three days for the house to find its new owner. However, it is throughout these three days that Nijat and Ali must challenge themselves with the innermost moral and ethical questions and confront themselves in a way they hadn’t ever before.
