The 13-year-old schoolboy Aslan, who is suffering from a hidden personality disorder, strives for cleanliness and perfection. He is possessed by the desire to control the events around him. The situation of pressure, extortion and personal struggle among the fellow schoolchildren aggravates Aslan’s condition and his conflict with the outer world.
EMIR BAIGAZIN
Born in Kazakhstan in 1984. Graduated from the Kazakh National Academy of Arts. In 2007 won a scholarship at the Asian Film Academy in Pusan and in 2008 at the Berlinale Talent Campus. His debut movie “Harmony Lessons” was selected for the main program at the Berlinale in 2013 and won a Silver Berlin Bear for the best camera and the prize of the Reader Jury of the “Berliner Morgenpost”. The film also got the Special Mention of the Jury at the Tribeca Festival in New York and the main prizes of festivals in Seattle, Basel, Trencin and others.
