Aleksey Kudrin, born October 12, 1960, Dobele, Latvian SSR.

Higher education. Master of Economy, Professor.

Authored over 30 works on economy and finances.

Awarded an order “For Services to Motherland” in 2010 for significant contribution to the state financial policy and longstanding conscientious work

Awarded a Stolypin medal (2010) for active participation in strategic development of the RF social-economic progress.

In 2004 Aleksey Kudrin was rated “The Minister of Finance of the year” by “The Banker” British magazine, winning in two categories: “The World Best Minister of Finance” and “The Best European Minister of Finance”.

In 2006 Aleksey Kudrin was called by British «Emerging markets» newspaper the best minister of finance among European countries with developing markets.

In 2010 British «Euromoney» magazine named Aleksey Kudrin the year best Minister of Finance.

Member of the Hermitage Board of Trustees. Co-chairman of the Maryinsky Theater Board of Trustees.
