Two families – one Russian and one American – want to adopt a child from a Russian orphanage. The Russian family brings home two children and experience the first joys and difficulties of the new life. The American family want to adopt a five-year-old disabled girl, but they are hindered by Putin’s new law forbidding Americans to adopt Russian children. Will little Polina’s dream about her own family come true?
