This film about a family from an ordinary Russian town was shot in the course of 12 years since the time Nadia (who is now a teenager) was born to the present moment. The portrait of an ordinary Russian family became a portrait of the contemporary Russia, a reflection of the changes it underwent over the past decade. Will these changes bring about its decline? One way or the other, an average Russian family is disintegrating.
