Seven short movies about a famous dancer and a breathtaking dance she created and called “Delhi Dance”. Seven autonomous stories about love, death and dance. All stories take place at the same place – a city hospital where heroes meet each other, love, suffer from the loss of their friends and beloved and look for harmony, peace and love.
IVAN VYRYPAEV
Born in 1974 in Irkutsk, USSR. Graduated from Irkutsk Theater School. Playwright, director, writer. Winner of the prestigious theater awards and the Prize of the Presidential Council “For the Contribution to Russian Literature”. His plays were staged at many theatres worldwide. Scriptwriter of many live-action movies including sequel of the famous Russian film “Bimmer”. His debut film “Euphoria” (2006) got prizes at the international film festivals in Venice, Warsaw, Wiesbaden and Kiev, as well as many national awards including Nika Award. His second film “Oxygen” (2009) received many awards of national film festivals including 3 prizes of the festival “Kinotavr”. “Delhi Dance” is shot by motives of the same name production by Ivan Vyrypaev.
