A boy is an aspiring contemporary artist, a girl is an aspiring school teacher. Their sudden acquaintance gives birth to short but passionate love affair. An ugly accident made them part. Overwhelmed with beautiful and frightening visions of the world through the eyes of her former lover, she starts to paint – violently, until she can stand on her feet.

VALERIA GAIUS GERMANICA
Born in Moscow, she studied filmmaking at Film and TV School “Internews” (class of Marina Razbezhkina). She made her first film at the age of 19. The documentary “Girls” (2005) was named the best short film at the Russian film festival “Kinotavr”, participated at the Cannes IFF, prizewinner of many other festivals. Her feature film “Everybody Dies But Me” (2008) won Special Mention of Camera d'Or in Cannes IFF. Her filmography includes “Sisters” (2005, doc.), “Boys” (2006, doc.), “He’s Gone” (2006, doc., with B.Khlebnikov), “Infanta’s Birthday” (2007), “School” (2010, TV series), “A Short Course of Happy Life” (2011, TV series), etc.
